Our Team

Barbara Thornton joined Educators’ Neighborhood in 2022, participated in the Deep Dive Trust group for 2023-2024, and is currently a PNC Grow Up Great Senior Fellow in Teaching and Learning.

She is a life-long New Jersian, and received both her undergraduate degree (BS in International Environmental Studies) and graduate degree (MPH in Health Education and Behavior Sciences) from Rutgers University.  She has devoted her career to Early Childhood Care and Education, with work that includes infant, toddler and preschool classroom teacher, early education workshop presenter, child care administrator, and supervising coach in the state quality rating improvement system.
